overall we appreciated our stay and recommend. the room was large. located in the centre of the city. guillotiere tube station is just a short walk away from the venue.
It was worth its 3 stars. Moreover, we parked on-site. We dined out at Elie Henry, set metres from the hotel.
Besides, a municipal museum is 5 minutes' drive away. Breakfast is available for eur 10 per person.
Place bellecour is just a walk down to the hotel. Location is in 5 minutes' walk to Guillotiere tube station👌😀
I found the beds very comfortable, help and concern of the front-desk people in solving the problems we had during the stay. In general it is an OK for people who do not speak French, as the staff will be able to help them with the English language.
I didn't like that it had too much ambient noise - it doesn't have double-paned windows so you can hear all the street noise . I also didn't think that when I arrived at the hotel, I was assigned a room that had "suitcases" of other guests in it. That can't happen in a hotel. Trust in security is a non-tradable item. In that the staff must be much more careful. . I did not like the acoustic of the room. The room did not have double glass, at night you can hear everything from the outside. Another problem that was peculiar, was at the beginning of our stay. The staff assigned to us a room which inside contained pieces of luggage for other passengers. For me, this was a sign of little security. I will improve that the staff be more aware of the room changes of different passengers.
Easy parking on-site; quiet, central location.
Hairdryer very old, very noisy and inadequate. Poor shower installation.
Staff very friendly, location good, brand new HD TV in room.
Internet in the room was so slow that it was unusable. Hotel needs refurbishing. Carpets need replacing, even steam cleaning would not be enough.
The hotel location was so close to the center of the city that we felt comfortable so much.
The parking lot was too small. Correctly speaking, the entire space is not so small, but the parking lot is split into very small pieces. As a result, we observed a lot of troubles in the parking lot. It is a pity to mention this parking space issue because the hotel was in general very good except the parking space issue.
Breakfast was very good for the price. Cookies and coffee/tea in the room was also nice.
In my room (704) the shower did not stand in the holder, so while taking the shower, we had to hold it ourselves. It is a bit expensive, if you have to pay normal price, for the price we paid (60 euros per room) it was exellent.
Location was good, room tight; as all european hotels seem to be but cleen & comfatable.Kettle,Tee, coffee & biscuts hard to come by in France so highly apreachated.Shower, wet erea all worked as should, nothing unexpected as often can hapen.Reception staff compedent.Lived up to it's 3 star rating.
Nice personnell, good locatiom
The hotel was very central and provided good service for the price paid
The area wasa not good but not dreadful
It was clean, the bed was comfortable and the front desk staff were very helpful.
Staff at reception were extremley helpful in all aspects of our trip- THANK you!
location was good, close to city centre, air conditioning did not work though, despite two complaints to staff nothing was done to rectify.
local area was very noisy at night and did not leave a very good impression of Lyon
